2008 Suzuki Hayabusa

Description

This is a 2008 Suzuki B King.  It is being sold as part of an estate sale.  This bike has 1,010 original miles showing.  200 of these miles I did test riding before posting it for sale.  The prior owner did drop the motorcycle and there are some scratches on the bike.  The most visible are bar end, mirror, brake handle and clutch cover.  Nothing really stands out when viewing the bike and could be considered normal wear and tear.  I tried to make sure I have good photos of the bike so when it arrives its just like you see it here.  If you want more photos please let me know and I'll get them to you.  When the bike arrived at my home it still had the original 2008 tires that looked like brand new.  The problem with the original tires is that they were hard as a rock and the most slippery tires I've ever ridden on.  So they were removed and brand new Dunlop Q4 tires installed.  The exhaust was just replaced as well.  During the test rides I did notice that under 100 percent full throttle the bike will sputter at around 7000 RPM or 100 MPH.  If you back the throttle to 90 percent the bike runs fine and pulls hard.  I changed out the fuel pump and filter and the bike still ran the same.  I'm thinking because the prior owner changed out the exhaust system the bike will need to be remapped to run at it's best.  I took the bike up to 135 MPH several times and it was stable and handles beautifully.  The larger V-Stream fairing works well and creates a nice wind tunnel for the rider.  No buffeting of the helmet or any of the other issues I've experienced with other fairings.  The current Yoshimura exhaust sounds great.  It has a nice rumble but not too loud that it becomes annoying on long trips.  The bike is very comfortable to ride and would be great for an all day adventure.  Over all the bike looks great and really stands out in a crowd.  The Hayabusa 1340cc motor mounted in this machine makes for a thrilling ride.  No problem passing slower traffic on this bad boy.  Guaranteed to bring you home smiling.  These were only imported for one year and are getting hard to find.
