This off-center fed dipole antenna is ruggedly built with 16 awg stranded copper wire, and is weather-resistant for outdoor use in permanent installations. Operates on 80, 40, 20, 17, 12. 10, and 6 meters without tuner (tuner needed for full band coverage on 80m, 10m). Matching unit contains a
4:1 balun. Antenna portion is made from 132' of wire, 88 ft. on one side, 44 feet on the other.
Dogbone insulators at each end.
Max. power 1 KW PEP.
The antenna functions best in an inverted V configuration with the center at 25-35 ft. Ends should be at 8-10 ft. above ground.
It also makes a great shortwave antenna as well. Antenna is ready to use out of the box.
