Description
A beautiful necklace made up of aventurine fancies. They are decorated with glittery gold aventurine bands that spiral round the beads and stunning swirly pink roses, blue, white and yellow forget-me knots and green leaves . These are old beads and are Venetian in origin. They date to the mid to late 1800s, the Victorian period.
The beads are in excellent condition, with no damage save for one of the very small beads which has a tiny chip
The necklace measures 28 inches, and the central bead is 24mm in length
The beads are newly rethreaded and have no clasp, they simply pop over your head
These are exquisite, dramatic beads. The design is just lovely. Don't miss them for your collection!
