LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A RARE PAIR OF VERY OLD MID 1861 - 1880 CUFF OR SHIRT BUTTONS. THEY WEIGH A COMBINED 4 GRAMS AND EACH TOP OR FACE MEASURES ABOUT 5/8" X 3/8" X 2/8" THICK. THEY ARE ROSE GOLD PLATED WITH DESIGNS AND A RAISED OCTAGON SHAPE WITH SPARKLING GOLDSTONE! EACH HAS TWO TINY BUTTONS ON THE SIDE, WHEN PRESSED THEY RELEASE THE BACK.  EACH BACK IS MARKED ON THE INSIDE "HA &CO." WHICH WAS IN BUSINESS FROM 1861-1880. THEY HAVE CERTAINLY BEEN WORN AND BOTH ARE IN NICE CONDITION AND GOOD WORKING ORDER1
