FROM A SERIES OF CAVITIES USED WITH THE TRC24 RADIO SYSTEM FOR COMMUNICATIONS.
F-196 dual gold plated cavity tuner 184 - 205 mhz from the military TRC-24 radio relay communications system.
Useful for many tuning filter interferrence or antenna applications in your ham shack Each section is tuneable, but they are coupled together in series.
You could remove this coupling and have two independent cavities
The tuning has a reduced speed mechanism for good control.
The internal parts pictured are of a higher frequency cavity, but you can see how they are built.
The internal components can be modified to cover other frequencies and it should not be a problem to move it to a different frequency. The usual high quality military construction with the elements of gold plated brass.
