This end-fed half wave antenna is convenient, small and easy to set up for portable use. Great for QRP and standard 100w radios.  It’s perfect with transceivers for emergency use, Field Day, or in locations with antenna restrictions. Antenna length is approx. 64 ft.  and comes with handy wire winder for portable use.

The matching unit
contains a 49:1 transformer that matches the high input impedance of an EFHW antenna to your radio. It
is resonant on 40/20/15/10m (will work on WARC bands/ 6m with tuner)
The end fed antenna works well in several configurations including horizontal, sloper,  inverted V, inverted L, and vertical configurations. Hang the insulator end from a tree limb or pole and attach the coax to the SO-239 connector. No counterpoise wire or ground is required, but a ground is recommended for safety.
