J- POLE ANTENNA FOR THE 2 METER BAND

Description

This is a J Pole antenna  cut for the 2 meter amateur band.
Constructed using 1/2" cooper pipe ,all welded
SWR is 1.2 @ 146 Mhz , and less than 1.5 across the entire band.
Antenna is tested at 100w (this is my power limitations ...but you can go with 500w easily).
This J pole is collapsible  so you can take it  in a field day...perfect for a portable operation.
Antenna is fabricate using a female SO239 bolted (not welded or riveted) to the copper pipe.
Also available with a "N" type connector upon request at no additional cost
Must use a 50 Ohms coaxial line.
Very sturdy construction so will last a long time...see pictures.....you will received what you see.
Omnidirectional radiation pattern ideal for simplex operation but also good for repeater.
