I know nothing about these thermistors, only that when the
air-conditioning
stopped working on my 2015 Jeep Renegade, Trailhawk, the outside temperature reading on my dash also went
berserk displaying extremely high readings (like 175).  The temperatures were actually in the upper 80s. Okay, I can always roll down a window, but NO, my passenger side window would not work using the driver side control.  Then my 4 wheel drive quit!  Someone mentioned it might be the sensor located on the underside of my passenger mirror.  I found the part number but no one had them in stock.  Then during one last search, I found it, but I had to order this large quantity( and that was all they had).  Even so, it was still cheaper than buying a new mirror, which was what Jeep suggested.
Once installed, everything started working correctly.
I now have all these extras, so I decided to put them on eBay.  If you, or someone you know owns a 2015 Jeep Renegade, Trailhawk, take advantage of this offer.  It probably works on other vehicles too, but this is the only one I am sure it works on.
