RARE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOLD FILLED BLOODSTONE WATCH FOB CHARM WITH HIDDEN FRAME

Description

This is an antique Victorian gold-filled watch fob charm with an oval bloodstone and fancy scrollwork on the top.  What makes this one so rare and exciting is the small hidden frame that pops out of the bottom at the touch of a button.  The frame has a pretty design with a fleur-de-lis in each corner, and is open in the front and back, so two photos could be displayed.  The frame slides back in with a firm click.  The charm flips, allowing the frame to be securely held in place.  When you want the frame to pop out, you flip it and push the button on the opposite end (see 4th photo).  When closed, the fob charm is 1 3/8 inches high, and 15/16 inch wide. The hidden frame is 5/8 inch high by 1/2 inch wide.  The charm weighs 15.9 grams.  This very unusual watch fob charm is in excellent antique condition, except for a missing piece on the back (see 3rd photo).
