    TOOL "ELEMENTS III - Lateralus"
    This piece is my visual representation of what it felt to see TOOL perform live. Intricate, precise and full of fire. Each of the outer circles represents a band member. The brightest circle, at the bottom, represents Danny Carey. He is the driving force with endless energy. The red circle on the right side is Maynard. Red hot vocals but also dark and not out front like a typical lead singer. The other two circles are for Justin and Adam. The top circle is Adam, he's the apex to the sound of the band. Left circle is Justin. His thundering bass lines wrap around the band and pull it tight. In the center it all comes together in a fiery heptagram, the sacred geometry that hold all the music together. This is how it felt to see them live.- MACRAE
